Silence Of The Lambs – Classic Movie Review

This is my review of the classic horror and psychological thriller Silence of the Lambs. Despite its transphobic elements dealing with Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine), Jonathon Demme’s academy award for best picture winning film is legitimately great. Jody Foster as young FBI recruit Clarice Starling and Anthony Hopkins as phsycopathic ex psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer/inmate Hannibal Lecter are electric. Watch the review just to see how this film holds up.

Riley C. Movie Review: ‘Mother!’ – Great Or Pretentious? [Video Review]

Mother! (or mother!) is the new psychological horror film by Darren Aronofsky that stars his girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, sexy as hell Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Kristen Wiig (yes, really). This dark and insane thriller has divided audiences: you either love this movie as a masterpiece in allegorical filmmaking, or you absolutely hate this film. This isn’t much news for Aronofsky who has directed other polarizing films such as Black Swan, Noah, Pi, Requiem For A Dream, and The Wrestler. Whatever you think of the film, rest comfortably knowing my review above is the definitive criticism for the divisive auteur’s latest offering.
